gorilla creature






I started working on a new project recently - some kind of Gorilla creature I am going to sculpt in ZBrush and render in Maya. To give myself something to choose from I spent some time on coming up with face ideas. I had a very rough ZBrush sculpt, on which I projected the front views to get a "first look" how things might turn out in 3D. Since the sculpt is very basic, the images do'nt line up exactly with the geometry, which in some cases might inspire the ongoing design process too.
